2021 AMS 34th Conference on Hurricanes and Tropical Meteorology

NOAA/StAR/RAMMB employees and CIRA Tropical Cyclone group members virtually presented 14 abstracts and posters at this week’s AMS 34th Conference on Hurricanes and Tropical Meteorology (10-14 May 2021). Scientists from the group co-authored 16 additional abstracts/posters, and John Knaff and Mark DeMaria participated as session chairs. This conference is hosted by the AMS Committee on Tropical Meteorology and Tropical Cyclones to promote the exchanging of information between scientists and to encourage application of research to operational problems. The conference was originally scheduled for 2020, however the conference was made virtual and delayed a year due to COVID-19.
