Cyclone Freddy’s Journey and Impact in Africa

Cyclone Freddy made a record-breaking journey across the Indian Ocean. Eventually Freddy made landfall in Madagascar and Mozambique bringing devastating impacts. Several media organizations downloaded imagery (created by Dakota Smith) on the Satellite Library and used them in their coverage. (POC: D. Smith, CIRA, dakota.smith@colostate.edu, S.
