Imagery Production Team Imagery of Wildfires Smoke and Dust Featured in News Publications

In early June, wildfires in Canada continued to produce vast plumes of smoke while Saharan dust travels from the west coast of Africa. Satellite visuals created by the Imagery Production Team made available in CIRA’s Satellite Library were used by several high-profile media outlets to highlight the wildfires and smoke.
