KMA Satellite Center Seminar: Y. J. Noh gave an invited talk at the KMA National Meteorological Satellite Center on January 30 titled “Satellite-Based 3D Cloud Information and Aviation Applications” to introduce CIRA’s research activities for improved satellite-based cloud vertical structure information and related user-developer interactions. NRL ATCF Annual Meeting: C. Slocum and J. Knaff attended the annual Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) Automated Tropical Cyclone Forecast (ATCF) system Stakeholders Annual Meeting. The meeting is a time for the DoD Joint Typhoon Warning Center, National Hurricane Center, and Central Pacific Hurricane Center along with collaborators such as the STAR Tropical Cyclone Product Line Team to provide input or make requests.
