Canada Wildfire and Smoke Imagery in the News

Satellite visuals of the Canada wildfires and smoke were featured across many news and media organizations during the first week of June. These animations were created by Dakota Smith and posted in CIRA’s Satellite Library. The coverage included a NYTimes.com front page feature and an article in the Washington Post that highlighted multiple animations.
