Austin Boone, the winner of CIRA’s 2023 CIRA Service Initiative award. Austin, while still serving in a support role at our front desk, led the effort to install our newest GOES dish, which is responsible for collecting much of the data you see from us. Austin was recognized for his successful efforts far beyond the scope of his responsibilities, and for his being a critically valuable part of CIRA!
