Imagery Production Team Satellite Imagery of ‘Megaflash’ Used in News Media

In late July, reporting on a ‘megaflash’ lightning strike from 2017 became public. Satellite visuals created by the Imagery Production Team with the assistance of YJ Noh were used by the Washington Post to highlight the lightning strike.
