New Satellite Liaison Blog Post:

Bill Line published a blog post titled “GOES-East Captures Wildfire Ignited by Lightning”. The post shares how GOES-East imagery and lightning data were used to detect a developing thunderstorm, its lightning flashes, and a wildfire that ignited from those lightning flashes.  See Figure below.
