Bill Line published a blog post titled “Tracking Widespread Fog with Satellite Imagery on 1/24/2024”. The post discusses ABI and VIIRS Imagery, including how it was used by NWS offices, of a widespread fog event that developed across the central US on 1/23-24, and of more localized fog in the Anchorage, AK area.
