New Satellite Liaison Blog Post
A blog post titled “GOES-18 Band 07 Barcode Artifact” was recently published. The post shares examples (from AWIPS) of imagery products influenced by the “Barcode Artifact” present in GOES-18 Ch07 imagery. This post was published and shared ahead of the upcoming Aug 1 – Sep 6 GOES-18 Interleave Period during which NWS offices will be viewing GOES-18 ABI imagery in AWIPS instead of that from GOES-17.
