An overzoom feature was added to SLIDER this week, allowing users to magnify the highest resolution imagery in SLIDER (e.g. 0.5 km for GOES-16 Full Disk) two extra zoom levels (e.g. 0.125 km for GOES-16 Full Disk). This feature is expected to be useful for examining small-scale features such as hot spots and fires and may have other applications in forensic meteorology. Additionally, extra drawing features including an arrow tool, text annotation tool, and an eraser were added a few weeks prior. More information about SLIDER releases can always be found on the Release Notes page and our Twitter account. (POC: M. Niznik and K.
